Microsoft antispyware warnings and Print Distributor

Print Distributor installs a Windows service when you run the setup program. This service is an essential part of Print Distributor, without it any jobs you print will not be processed.

If you are running Microsoft's AntiSpyware software it will popup an alert which says "An Unknown Windows Service Requires Approval." If you see this message when installing Print Distributor then you must click on the "Allow" button to complete the installation properly. If you click on "Block" Print Distributor will not be able to process any print jobs.

The name of the service will be pd3service.exe or pd4service.exe.
