Can you disallow the printing of certain file types?

We are evaluating your Print Distributor software and am impressed so far! It looks to be quite powerful.

My question is this, can you delete a print request based on the files extention? For example you wouldn't want to print a ".exe" file.

We can look in the document name field for a pattern, it really depends on what application you are printing from.

If you pause a printer and print a document, open the printer in the printers folder you can see the document name. If you can see a pattern there then we can block those jobs.

What we don't know is the original application, so you can't block all jobs from FireFox say because FireFox doesn't put it's own name in the document name, just the title of the page you are printing.
