Print Distributor as network printer?

Is it possible to use a certain Windows-PC with Print Distributor as a Print Server for printjob distribution? I want to print from different PCs on this one to have less administration efforts than the configuration of PD on every Machine.

Yes Print Distributor works fine with shared printers on both the workstation and server editions.
