client IP Address

Hi,
We have print distributor server edition set up as a network printer. Print distributor invokes some batch jobs, which require the client's IP address.
In the past I have been able to convert the machine name.

I can no longer do this because people have started to connect using vpn connections, and they now have multiple ip addresses in dns.

Is there any way to obtain the ip address of the computer that initiated the print job?

Only the name, not the IP address.

Can I submit the availability of an IP address variable as a feature request?

Unfortunately we are restricted to what the spooler gives us, the IP address just isn't available.
