Copying Distilled file to a mapped drive

Hi,

I configured the print server entry to create the PDF to a mapped drive, but I don't see the output. I get it to work fine on my C drive, but the mapped drive seems to be empty. It does warn me that the mapped path I used would not work and it converts it to the right format.

Thoughts?

You need to run the Print Distributor service under an account which has local administrator rights and access to the network share. Set this in Control Panel->Administrator Tools->Services->Print Distributor Service and look in the login tab.

You also need to use a UNC path (\\servername\sharename\path) rather than a mapped drive as mapped drives are associated with the profile of the logged in user so the service won't be aware of them.
