TCP/IP Port 9100 for a printer

Is it possible to create a printer that uses the local computers IP address and port 9100? I want to print from a OpenVMS system to a text file on my network. All the data is pure text. You software does what I need except the part of being able to print to a specific IP/port or am I just doing something wrong?

Jay,

If you want Print Distributor to receive data on port 9100 then we don't have that functionality.

It is possible to print from OpenVMS over port 515 (lpr/lpd), we have a paper on how to configure Windows for this at http://www.frogmorecs.com/arts/configure-lpdsvc.html

On the other hand if you want to send output from Print Distributor on port 9100 then just create a printer in Windows using the standard tcp/ip port where you can specify port 9100.
