Print properties precedence
Hello,
I've installed print distributor on a machine that will become our central print server. So far, I've setup some printers using print distributor to point to some shared network printers located on another machine. Some of those network printers have specific options setup, such as duplexing, print from specific tray, etc.
What happens to those settings when I print using print distributor? Will they use whatever setting is set in print distributor, or will the network printer settings take precedence and over-ride the print distributor? If the print distributor settings are what's being used, I'm assuming I have to adjust the printer settings on the machine where Print distributor is installed?
So far from what I've tested, Print Distributor over-rides the network print settings, but I just want to make sure that is the case and that it will be consistent.
Thanks.

Hanson,
The print settings will come from the virtual printer created by Print Distributor.
If you have one printer with duplex and another without then you will need to configure the virtual printer to have duplex even though only one of the real printers has this.
