print every page twice from multiple page document
We are searching for a solution to generate two prints of every page in a multiple document. We have carbon paper in white and yellow, in 2 different drawers. The printcommand needs to print page 1 on white, then page 1 on yellow, then page 2 on white, then page 2 on yellow.
Someone recommended your software, and I would like to know if this is possible?

Terence,
Sorry we don't have the ability to address different trays at the moment.

Well is there a way, from a multipage document, to just have it print 1,1,2,2,3,3, etc. all from the same tray?

David.
This is normally an application setting, when you print you can normally choose whether to collate or not.
One the document has printed we can't alter the content, only print it again as it is.

I have found that you could do this if you create 1 virtual printer that prints to two real printers on a Print Server.
1 of the real servers is set to the IP of the printer you want to print too. But set to print to Tray 1 only (name would need to be individual and doesn't need to be shared if Print Distributor is on the same server)
the other Printer should be setup identiacally but set to print to Tray 2 only.
Then create a virtual printer with same driver, and add both printers to the redirect. That way the job is sent to both printers.
The only thing you can't do is have it print out the pages in order of page 1 white, page 1 yellow, page 2 white......
Hope that is helpful
