Ghostscript to windows printing outside margins
We recently solved an issue of printing from a unix system to a windows print server by using ghost script. However, the print outs appear to start too high on the page so the top of the first line is cut in half. It is still readable for the most part, but if there is some way to cause the print to not begin until the next line we would like to try it.

Don,
Can you send a sample PostScript file to support [at] frogmorecs.com and we will check it out. If you can let us know what printer and paper size you are using this would help.

Don't have a sample PS file, but it does this even when just using the "Test" function of Print Distributor. It cuts off the top portion of the first line. I'm using AdobePSGenericPostScriptPrinter driver for the ghostscript virtual printer and then redirecting this to a Canon IR3030. Everything else prints fine except for the first line. I'm using standard letter paper size.

If you add a Write File action to your actions you can write the PostScript out to a file.

Sent a sample PS output and description of the issue to the email address provided. I think the issue is with the print margins being off - starts printing too soon on the page, but I'm not sure if or how this can be adjusted using either ghostscript, or print distributor.

Don,
I think we need a sample from your Unix host rather than the Windows test page, can you send a live sample?
