reprint error
we have tried on HP5000, if do a test on PD3, the page comes out and print "unsupported personality: PCL", if print other doucments like txt from notepad, lots of garbadge page comes out. Please advise!

amendment, "hp5000 unsupported personality" error occurs for HP1010, have tried to used hosted based printer driver.
But if testing with HP laserjet 5000, tons of garbage pages print out. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately Print Distributor isn't compatible with the LaserJet 1000 or LaserJet 1010 printers.

We've tried to use GS to send jobs to the printer, however, the output printed is not as expected. I am afraid this problem would be more severe if use this method for other properietry driver.
Could you advise how shall we use exactly the desired driver PCL5/6, ESC, UFR, GDI, QPDL..etc and use gs to PDF for archiving? Since we have users need these non-PS driver for specific needs. Thanks in advance!

Ghostscript needs PostScript, it won't convert your other data streams.
