Problem: huge memory usage & Exception Handling missing

I start the pd3service and after about 5 minutes it's using over 800megs virtual and 250+ megs of ram, but almost no cpu.

I end up trying to stop the service and it times out. I have to kill the PD3 service. If I start the service again it does the same thing? Is it possible there is a job stuck or something? Where does PD3 service keep the files it is working on.

Also, can't find this "exception handling" action, I only have reprint, write file, load balanciing, action group, distiller, run program, script and send mail actions.

If you use the Tools-Open Config Folder menu in Print Distributor there are two folders, one called raw which holds all the pending print jobs and the jobs folder which has config information for each file. Print Distributor will process any outstanding jobs when you start the service.

There is no exception action, to use the exception handling you add an action you want to run on an exception and set the condition for that action to Exception.
