Re-direct to another printer if out of paper

Hi, i downloaded the trial and worked as needed for load balancing. I set up 2 printers and if printer 1 is unavailable it will print to the second one. The only issue is that by 'unavailable' it only means that the printer has to be switched off. Is there a way to set the re-direction also if the printer is out of paper?

i was thinking of a conditional expression with a timeout or something similar?

The first thing to check is that you have the latest build (2069) as this has some enhancements to the load balancing.

The next thing to check is that the paper out status is reflected in the Windows printer queue, if you open the printer from the printers folder check and see if the status reflects the paper out on the printer. If it doesn't then you might need to turn on SNMP in the port configuration for the printer (if you are using a TCP/IP port).
