HP Universal Print Driver errors

Is there a way to use the HP Universal Printer Driver for a Print Distributor queue that is "Load Balanced" to 2 Windows Printers that are both also using the HP Universal Printer Driver? For many printers on WIndows Server 2008, HP recommends using the Universal Printer Driver. When I try to print from XP to the Print Distributor printer queue, I get a error page printed on the printer that says KERNAL error: Unsupported Protocol.

HP LaserJet 8000

Are you using the PCL5, PCL6 or PostScript driver?
