Load Balancing - Printer Error
The document says it checks the status of the jobs on the queue, if there is a job with an error status then it skips that printer and prints it to the next printer. But is there a way that we can figure out that the printer is out of paper or toner low even though there's no failed job in the print-queue. We cannot loose even one print job - so if the first job is in error, then we wouldn't be able to redirect that job, right?

Sri,
This really depends on the printer.
If you take your printer offline then open the printers folder in Windows and look at the printers status. If it shows as offline then Print Distributor will skip it, if it ignores the status then Print Distributor will attempt to print to it.
If you are using the Microsoft tcp/ip port then enabling SNMP support on the port can sometimes help.
