This is a preliminary statement on Windows Vista compatibility for Print Distributor, Mail Print and FRP.
We will update this after the final RTM (release to manufacturing) build is available from Microsoft and we have completed our tests.
Print Distributor is compatible with Windows Vista as long as you have build 1489 or later, you can download it from here.
This is a free upgrade if you have version 4 or if you purchased version 3 after 1st April 2006.
Print Distributor 3 will run if you run the manager application as an Administrator. To set this up open the install folder in Windows Explorer and right click on the console.exe file. Select properties and switch to the compatibility tab. Towards the bottom check the “Run this program as an administrator” option.
Mail Print is fully compatible with Vista.
FRP is fully compatible with Vista.
